Muskie Madness 2025: Hometown Hero Outdoors Lands 37 Giant Muskies in Minnesota Fishing Event
This past 4th of July week, Hometown Hero Outdoors #TeamMN hit the water at Whispering Winds Resort for the 3rd Annual Muskie Madness—one of Minnesota’s premier muskie fishing events for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. Over two action-packed fishing sessions, 25 participants experienced world-class muskie fishing in the heart of northern Minnesota.
The results were nothing short of legendary:
- 37 muskies landed, plus several trophy-sized northern pike.
- 22 anglers caught at least one fish.
- 18 participants successfully landed a muskie.
- Five muskies measured over 50 inches, a dream catch for any muskie angler.
These incredible fish were caught while enjoying the camaraderie, mental health benefits, and outdoor therapy that Hometown Hero Outdoors provides for those who serve and protect.
