First Responders

Show Your Support for First Responders

First Responders are some of the bravest individuals in our nation. Not only do they risk their lives daily, but they're also forced into frequent unknown situations. Yet, they rush into each dangerous situation to do everything they can to assist those who need it the most.

Unfortunately, they're also some of the last individuals to receive assistance when they need it. The daily dangers they're put through can take an enormous toll on their physical and mental health. That's why it's so critical that we take a stand on their behalf, reaching out to them to offer support and an opportunity to heal and refresh themselves. If you've been looking for a way to give back, donating to Hometown Hero Outdoors is the perfect way to show gratitude for their service.

Did You Know. . ?

We often consider our nation's first responders some of the bravest, calm, and most collected people. But the truth is that they're human, just like the rest of us. They all have moments where they struggle - even in their downtime when they try to rest and recuperate from the stresses of their work.
85% of first responders have experienced mental health condition-related symptoms
Depression and PTSD are around 5x more common in first responders
40% of first responders don’t ask for help for fear of being fired or demoted
First responders are at a higher risk of developing PTSD

By offering them a chance to get out, have fun, and go on an adventure with like-minded individuals, we're expanding their support group, encouraging them to connect with others, and allowing them to relax and unwind. However, we need the support of our community and individuals like yourself to continue to expand our reach and assist these heroic workers.

We encourage you to donate today or consider volunteering your time to assist us in getting our law enforcement officers into the outdoors. (Contact Us  for additional information) so that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of law enforcement officials throughout our nation.
