On April 21st, the Hometown Hero Outdoors team concluded a successful weekend at the Big Bass Splash held at Lake Rayburn, Texas. Led by Cody Abshier, the event brought together a dedicated group committed to supporting our mission.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Chris Caspino, Aaron "Troj" Trojacek, Troj’s wife Amanda, and my wife Heather for their invaluable assistance throughout the event. Their hard work and dedication helped ensure everything ran smoothly.

Despite some rainy weather on Saturday, the team didn’t let that dampen their spirits. Sunday turned out to be a fantastic day, where they sold tons of raffle tickets and merchandise, all while maximizing networking opportunities to promote the HHO mission.

The enthusiasm and support from everyone involved made the event a resounding success, and the team is already looking forward to returning next year. Together, they continue to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. Here's to many more successful events ahead!
