North Dakota Hometown Hero Outdoors recently had another incredible fishing adventure with Brad Durick Outdoors on the Mighty Red River of the North. Participants Kristina, Darren, and a fellow Hometown Hero volunteer hit the water with high hopes, and Brad did not disappoint!

The day started off with some smaller catches, but it wasn’t long before the group found themselves in prime fishing spots. Brad led them from one great spot to the next, where the catfish were biting – and biting big! In total, they reeled in an impressive 27 catfish. Out of those 27, 16 weighed in at over 10 pounds, making it a day to remember.

Kristina landed the biggest catch of the day – a massive 35-inch, 23.5-pound catfish. Darren also had a great day, hauling in several hefty catfish, including a couple weighing in at 17 pounds each.

It was an unforgettable experience for the North Dakota Hometown Hero Outdoors crew. Brad’s expertise and knowledge of the Red River catfish made the day a success, with plenty of big fish and even bigger smiles.
