On June 29th, the New England Chapter of Hometown Hero Outdoors provided member Jim Savage with a guided flyfishing trip. Registered NH Fishing Guide Al Karg of Soft Hackle Guide Service generously donated the trip which took place on the historic Connecticut River in New Hampshire’s northernmost town of Pittsburgh. Also participating on the trip was HHO Staff Member Jim Juneau. Under beautiful sunny skies, and with Al’s expertise, the day was spectacular as brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and Atlantic salmon were all successfully netted.
