Team North Dakota embarked on an unforgettable adventure in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) with two veterans, their sons, and one of their own team member’s son. Starting at Entry Point 16, Moose River North, the group dove into a scenic journey involving six hours of paddling and portaging to reach the serene waters of Lake Agnes.
Once settled on Lake Agnes, the team spent several days fishing for walleye and smallmouth bass, fully embracing the breathtaking wilderness around them. The camaraderie among the veterans and their families fostered a spirit of unity and support, as they bonded over shared experiences and the excitement of fishing in such a picturesque setting.
On their return, they split the journey in half, spending an evening at Nina Moose Lake where they caught some beautiful crappies, adding even more excitement to the adventure.
A special thanks goes to Packsack Canoe for providing the essential gear that made this trip comfortable and enjoyable. Their support played a key role in ensuring this journey was one to remember.
