North Dakota Birdie Bang

North Dakota Chapter of Hometown Hero Outdoors held its first Birdie Bang on Saturday the 10th of September.  Staff Members Jon Falch and Nathan Beiter were Joined by Organizational Trip Director Jeff Carl and 10 HHO Members.  The Birdie Bang was a two part trip/contest.   After the introduction, resilience message and quick safety meeting, Dakota Sporting Clays Hosted us by letting us utilize their Sporting Clays course.  All members gave it their best as they shot 50 birds over 12 challenging stations.  Next up came a spectacular burger lunch server by Willy's Bar.  Followed by Golf at Larimore Golf Course.  Members paired up and shot 9 holes of the best ball.  Weather cooperated as balls were lost and chip shots drained.  After the last putt was sunk, Average from sporting clays were subtracted from golf scores.  Adam Helgeson and Jason Monahan (34 Golf - 26 Clays) won with a total score of 8.

Special Thanks to Homes by Helgeson for donating the ammo for the event and Dakota Sporting Clays for its support for the organization.
