A huge thank you to Dos Plumas Hunting Ranch for hosting eight of our Hometown Hero Outdoors veterans and service members on an incredible 3-day, 2-night hog hunting trip in Texas.
From the moment our members arrived, the Dos Plumas team made them feel right at home. Their hospitality, knowledge of the land, and commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment turned this into a trip to remember.
For many veterans and first responders, the outdoors isn’t just about the hunt. It’s a chance to reconnect with nature, share stories, and rebuild the bonds of camaraderie that are such a vital part of military and service life. Around the campfire, in the blinds, and out in the fields — those connections grew stronger with every moment.
