Phil Ewert is the Content Development Coordinator for Hometown Hero Outdoors, bringing a unique mix of lived experience, creative talent, and heartfelt storytelling to our mission. A former law enforcement officer, Phil knows firsthand the challenges faced by those who serve and the healing power of the outdoors.
Through his writing, podcast production, and voiceover work, Phil captures powerful, personal stories—both his own and those of others—that highlight resilience, connection, and the restorative magic of nature. Whether he’s recounting his battle with a brain tumor or honoring the legacy of his outdoorsman father-in-law, Phil’s work reminds us why our mission matters.
