Milaca Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Hometown Hero Outdoors

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the community came together at Stones Throw Golf Course in Milaca, Minnesota for a day of golf, laughter, and giving back. Organized by longtime HHO supporters Jan Jude and Caity Eggen, this inaugural tournament raised funds to support the mission of Hometown Hero Outdoors—providing outdoor adventures and mental health support for veterans, service members, and first responders.

What made this event even more special? It was the first time Jan and Caity had ever organized a golf tournament. Pulling together friends, family, and local community members, they created an incredible day of fun and generosity that felt like a seasoned tradition. From creative contests on the course to unforgettable raffle prizes, the tournament delivered on every level.

A Community Coming Together for a Cause

The fairways were filled with golfers of all skill levels, but the true highlight was the shared sense of purpose. Everyone who attended helped raise awareness and funds to support HHO’s mission of serving those who serve us. The day was more than just golf—it was about connection, laughter, and making a difference.

The tournament was such a success that we are proud to announce it will now become an annual tradition!

📅 Save the Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Stones Throw Golf Course. Mark your calendars—you won’t want to miss it.
