Team Minnesota held its 2nd annual Cole J Lutz PTSD/Suicide Awareness Memorial Walk at the Veterans Memorial of Stillwater, Minnesota. Cole is the brother of MN staff Clint Lutz. 2 years ago on October 23rd of 2020, he lost his battle with mental health and took his own life. This walk was started last year to help remember Cole and raise awareness of mental health, PTSD, and suicide. Also, to raise funds to get the staff of HHO trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). In the future more walks will be held in other states we are active in. As we move forward as an organization we want to expand our service to those we serve and try to break the stigma about mental health. We now have over 20 of our field staff trained and ready to listen and help. Remember, its ok to be not ok. Just dont get stuck there!
