HHO Colorado field staff Shawn Snyder got two members out on a small game hunt guided by Zach Zeckser. They got outsmarted by many squirrels but brought home one line squirrel, one snowshoe rabbit, and one cottontail rabbit.

They hiked 800ft up the side of a mountain while the snow was still falling. Some of the hikes had snow as deep as 1-2ft of snow. The trip was full of laughter as they all took tumbles hiking in the snow and shared stories of our time in service.

By the end of the trip, they all could agree on one thing: they all needed to spend some time at the range!
